Many people ask me what it is that I do for a living when I am out networking or introducing myself to new people.
The typical answer is that I am an independent insurance broker. Most people think oh, just another salesman who is going to try and sell me insurance. I totally understand, nobody likes a pushy salesperson and unfortunately there are a lot of them around.
However, let’s delve a little deeper than the fact the I sell insurance. Well what does that mean in reality?
My answer to this is I protect people, their assets and their financial future. You may think this is a glorified explanation but let’s think about this a little more.
I protect people from the financial exposure of a claim and the replacement of their assets such as their home, business automobiles and income due to a disability or loss of an income producing spouse so that their family can continue to maintain their current lifestyle and retirement solutions so you don’t outlive your savings.
Although it’s a general summation of what I do for my clients, these are just a few of the services that I provide.
I provide solutions to cover potential risks and since I am an independent broker, I can search with multiple carriers for the best carrier at the best available premium. I am not bound to just on insurance carrier so our freedom works for your benefit.
